nyc: three great bars

My bi-annual buying trip to New York City this past September was quite a hectic one; running from showrooms to tradeshows to designer studios required some evening fuel. Tired as I was from the days activities, I couldn't help but explore the ever-changing nightlife scene the city had to offer. Three of my favorite spots included Weather Up (tribeca), Ten Bells, and Smith & Mills, the later of which is housed in a former carriage house and has a restroom located inside an old elevator car. These intimate spaces served up amazing cocktails and tasty bites. Oh, New York, the best things do come in small packages.
